Friends and Colleagues,

 

Several fellow Records and Information Management professionals and I have
created an online forum to promote what we are calling 'Next Generation
Records Management'.  (The forum can be found here: http://nextgenrm.org.)
NextGenRM.org includes news articles and original content focused on
innovative solutions to the records management challenges faced by industry
professionals in the modern era.  

 

We invite everyone on this list to visit our site, check out our content and
comment often.  

 

We are also looking for more RIM professionals willing to provide us with
original Next Gen RM material.  Particular topics of interest include cloud
computing, social media, e-discovery,  predictive coding and innovative
records management policies.  But if you have ANY forward-thinking,
potentially transformative ideas that you believe would help your colleagues
navigate the challenges of managing the information lifecycle in today's
hyper-technical, born-digital environment, please send me your ideas
(off-list) at the email below and we will do our best to make sure you get
heard.
