I'm considering applying for the Certified E-Discovery Specialist certificate to my name, and I would really appreciate getting comments from the group on the value of an e-discovery certificate.  E.g., From those with an e-discovery certificate, was it worth the money and effort to get the certificate?  From employers, do you value the certificate when hiring discovery personnel?  Does it impact the position and salary?  Does it work well with a person with records management experience or does it only work for paralegals or lawyers?
