Hi Sylvia,
U-line has some waterproof labels that appear to be working quite well for us--product # S-15653K (Kraft Block out Labels) They come in 2 sizes, and this is the smaller.
Good luck.

Subject: [RM] Labels on Boxes
Good morning! I was wondering what is the best glue to use when attaching labels to boxes for long term storage? The labels I am currently using are sticky enough at first, and I do apply tape to secure them in addition, but inevitably, both eventually drop off. Granted, I could write the box number right on, but would prefer gluing them on for now.
Any suggestions are welcome!
