Thank you for highlighting this Bruce. This is a real weak point for us as a profession - if we set standards & competencies, these should be publicly available for people investigating professional development. Keeping it closed to only members is almost akin to preaching to the converted - ARMA (& others): Open up,  to help raise the profession to the standards you suggest!
