I'm being asked by my new management team to gain some understanding on the
make-up and size of retention schedules at other companies. I've given
them the "It depends" speech and the why's but they still seem set on
seeing some hard numbers. I'm hoping that the list will help make this a
reality. Also if you know anyone else in your networks that might be
willing to participate in this activity I would appreciate it.

I'll combine all results and will not give individual company names to
anyone. Let me know if you'd like the results.
Here we go!!!
1) How large is your employee base
2) Are you a domestic or International Company? If international approx
how many countries.
3) What method have you used to configure your schedule(Functional,
Divisional, Big Buckets, Departmental)
4) How many schedules do you have?
5) How many record series are contained in your schedule?
6) How often do you update the schedule and is there a formal change
process in place
7) Where is the schedule stored or published? How do you notify employee's
of changes
