Kind of reminds me of an expanded Lotus Notes.  I worked for a company where
Marketing in particular used Notes in a similar manner as this product.  I
don't think it will appeal to a broad audience.  Email will still be used as
a primary communication mechanism  in business because it's in your face, a
form of push communication.  A system like FaceBook notification lets you
know when people make comments, but you often need to take another click to
the FB page to see the context of the statement which was send via email.
Not bad, but not good enough for business people.
