Text messages may soon be considered public record for Pensacola city
officials. Council Member Sherri Myers is proposing two amendments to the
city's code of ethics. Myers is hoping this will create more transparency.
Council Member Sherri Myers says she's noticed city officials and employees
are not just communicating via e-mail, but are using their smart phones to
talk about city issues.
