Registration is now open for basic and advanced training in electronic
records management (ERM), held by the Institute for Information Governance.
The classes are based primarily on the text, "Managing Electronic Records:
Methods, Best Practices, & Technologies" (Wiley, 2013) by Robert Smallwood.
The author is the lead instructor, and he is joined by other subject matter
experts such as Lori Ashley, Charles Dollar, Dr. Pat Franks, CRM, IGP, Jim
Merrifield CIP, IGP, and others.
The classes include live, interactive lectures, whiteboard discussions,
educational videos, and "field trips" to see ERM software in action. They go
beyond the textbook with new and updated material added to each class. Short
quizzes are given along the way to prod your memory and reinforce core
concepts. This comprehensive approach is the most powerful learning system

Classes are held live, 11am-4pm ET online using interactive HD video to

ERM Basics class will be held Jan. 13,14, & 15 and ERM Advanced class will
