Let me clarify any confusion I may have caused from my post. Yesterday, in
response to the question, "
What is the most interesting old record you have come across." I wrote, "
Amelia Earhart's personnel file while working as the Records Manager for
Purdue University."
To clarify, Amelia Earhart was never the Records Manager at Purdue. I WAS
the Records Manager at Purdue when I came across her personnel file in
offsite storage. I promptly made a copy of the file for offsite storage
and sent the original documents to the University Archives.
Sorry for the confusing statement!
