For years, stacks of boxes containing New Hanover County records have been
stored with Property Management, but this year they found a new home.

Concerns about the early signs of deterioration some boxes were showing led
the county to move the boxes to Wilmington Records Storage, a local
business where the storage units are temperature controlled and equipped
with a fire alarm system, neither of which were the case in Property
Management's building.
