Last month, President Obama signed House Resolution 1233 into law. It
amends the Federal Records Act of 1950 by focusing more directly on
electronic records. Now digital records will also be transferred to the
National Archives and Records Administration.

Paul Wester, U.S. chief records officer at NARA, discussed the issue with
Government Matters.
