Millions of children around the world are looking forward to getting a
visit from Santa tomorrow night.

But a recently unearthed historical document suggests that they may be
disappointed - because Father Christmas actually died 450 years ago.

The archive lists 'Father Christmas' as the name of a man buried in an
Essex churchyard in May 1564.
