Hello all,
I am reaching out to members of the records and archives community to collect information for a salary survey with a preference towards collecting Canadian data (note: if you are outside of Canada you can still participate in the survey). Please read more below.
The Records and Information Management Salary Survey was prepared by Andrew Zanella of the ARMA (Association of Records Managers and Administrators) Toronto Chapter<http://armatoronto.on.ca/>. Andrew is a records management supervisor at a large law firm in Toronto and has over 15 years of experience in the records and information management field. The survey was designed to fill a gap in compensation data of records and information professionals in Canada. This is the first time the ARMA Toronto Chapter is collecting Canadian compensation data.
The survey will provide information on total annual compensation, including bonuses and other nonmonetary benefits, earned by records information management professionals employed in full-time or part-time positions in Canada.
This short survey should take approximately 5 minutes to complete. All completed survey responses will remain anonymous (no identifying personal information or web IP addresses is collected).
Deadline to complete the survey is February 28th, 2015. Click on the link to launch the survey now – https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/S9KZ7JC
Results will be tabulated in Spring 2015. Please send an email to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> if you would like to be sent a copy of the survey results.
Why participate in the 2015 Records and Information Management Salary and Benefits Survey?
Employers/Organizations: Compare your compensation packages with organizations of similar size within your sector and region to ensure you remain competitive. Give your recruitment an edge by discovering what other organizations are offering in performance incentives and benefit plans.
Job seekers and RIM professionals: Research compensation packages for your position in your region to confidently set salary expectations and negotiate more effectively with employers. Use the information to benchmark and compare salaries of other RIM professionals across various industries.
Thank you for taking the time to participate in our anonymous survey.
