Well going to school in Massachusetts in the 60,s and 70's we had a royal family there (the Kennedy's).  When Bobby was shot someone in the class(4th grade or 3rd) mentioned that he was a vegetable.  Honestly never heard that term and did not know what it meant. So when I said how can someone be vegetable and the teacher heard what I said you would have thought that we were in the middle of the Cuban missile crisis.  Dragged out of class, pulled into a room, berated for five minutes and then the paddle came out.  Needless to say I learned what that term meant and to this day I won't forget that.  That’s my story and I am sticking to it.
