The National Security Campus (NSC) is a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), National 
Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) facility managed and operated by Honeywell 
Federal Manufacturing & Technology (FM&T).  Our primary business is to manufacture 
sophisticated mechanical, electronic, and engineered material components for our nation’s 
defense system.  Our goal is to seek innovative solutions that surpass our customers’ 
expectations.  To accomplish this, we research, develop, and deploy some of the most 
advanced design and manufacturing technologies in use in the United States today.
Records Operations IT Support performs customer support, training, and order fulfillment 
activities for various IT services, primarily focused on centralized Records Center 
Operations.  This role will evaluate and complete requests for Records Center services in 
a Records Management database; provide ownership of Records Center Operations 
processes, procedures and practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency; ensure 
compliance of Records Management practices by company personnel; and interact with 
customers over the phone, via e-mail, or in person. To be successful in this role you must 
be proficient in the usage of Records Center Operations equipment, processes and 
procedures with the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.  
Summary of Duties:    
•	Interfaces with internal FM&T departments to support Records Management needs.
•	Assists department with understanding and implementing the records retention 
schedule (RIDS)
•	Performs data entry of inactive records inventory into electronic Records 
Management system.
•	Coordinates transfer and retrieval of inactive records to off-site storage
•	Performs Records Management database queries to research customer requests.
•	Confirms compliance with Records Management policies and procedures.
•	Participates in annual records retention review and disposition process.
•	Reviews inventories of historical records holdings for accuracy and compliance
•	Catalogs unidentified or misidentified archive holdings.
•	Performs document imaging and quality control activities, as needed.
•	Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with 
established HS&E requirements to ensure the protection of employees, the public, and the 
environment.  
•	Takes actions necessary to stop work when an unsafe condition or action is 
identified.  Every employee has the right and responsibility to stop work when unsafe 
conditions or actions are identified.
•	May perform other duties as required. 
•	Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with 
established HS&E requirements to ensure the protection of employees, the public, and the 
environment.  Takes actions necessary to stop work when an unsafe condition or action is

Qualifications
  
Basic Qualifications: 
•	US citizenship in order to obtain and maintain US Dept of Energy "Q" level security 
clearance
•	Associate’s degree in a computer-related field along with two (2) years’ work 
experience in records management or equivalent role (medical records, achieves, 
electronic records, etc.) OR four (4) years’ work experience managing records (medical 
records, achieves, electronic records, etc.) will be accepted in lieu of an Associate’s 
degree.
•	One (1) year in Records Management facility 
Additional Qualifications: 
•	Knowledge and experience in providing Records Center Operations in a 
medium/large company.
•	Proven ability to use Records Management systems and handle large volumes of 
records efficiently.
