And that to me is one of the biggest issues I (and others on this
list) have with IG - it is as you say "cobbled together."  Almost as
if someone decided to throw a bunch of darts at a wall and those that
stuck were deemed under the IG umbrella.

No wonder there is a lot of confusion about what IG really is (and isn't)...
