Aloha Listserv Friends:

If you know of someone in the RIM industry that is a member of your staff or management team that is working towards a college degree, please encourage them to apply for the Access Leadership Scholarships! The criteria for the scholarships are quite simple and could provide the successful applicant with either a $6,000 or $2,000 towards their college education. Do you know anyone that meets the following:

1. Evidence that you are currently employed as a RIM professional and have been employed for at least one year.
2. Evidence that the college or university program you are enrolled in is accredited.
3. For courses completed, submit a transcript indicating you received a minimum grade of ā€œC.ā€ If enrolling, provide a transcript at the end of each course showing a grade of ā€œCā€ or above.
4. Descriptions of the courses for which you are applying for a scholarship. Courses must be RIM-related or demonstrably relevant to a RIM career (e.g., budget and finance, human resources, contracts, leadership, IT, etc.)
5. A one-page discussion about how a college degree will help your professional advancement.
6. Two letters of reference: one from an individual able to comment on your personal qualities and a second from someone you work with (colleague, manager, etc.).

Access Leadership Scholarships provide financial support for current and future RIM practitioners striving for positions of greater responsibility that require a college degree. Funding is provided through a grant from the ACCESS Corporation. Applications are due by August 15. Check out details on all of the ARMA International Education Foundation scholarships at:

Thank you,

Brian
