When I first started here at Waterworks 20 years ago, I was told that, at one time, we had stored records in an emptied concrete ground water storage tank (kind of like a water tower but on the ground). I was told to check it out and make sure all the records had been removed as they were getting ready to demolish it. Sure enough, we found boxes of records in amongst signs of critters, mold, etc. and removed them to the recycle company. I am glad they were well past retention and we didn't have to try to get rid of all the mold. BTW - they still haven't demolished the storage tank.

Hello everyone!

I remember this one as well. I don't have a copy but I am fairly certain it came from a presentation Mark Langemo gave at ARMA several years ago. Not sure if anyone knows how to track Mark down?

Good luck!
David
