Hi Bradlee,
Third and fifth cut folder systems work for static file plans and assume
you will not need to insert a new folder at some time in the future. I
always use the straight cut and place the label in the same place. I've
been told it is also easier to scan the system - especially a large file
plan - because you are looking straight down a row rather than back and
forth. You could get dizzy with a large file system.
This is definitely where electronic records can make life much easier:)
