As part of our 'Advancing Your RIM Career' series, the Metro NYC Chapter of ARMA is excited to feature a presentation of insight and experience from a senior level RIM professional who will provide a road map for RIM Professionals, including alternative career opportunities.

The presenter for this event is Shari Perlstein, Senior Director, Enterprise Records & Information Management, Corporate Legal, Pfizer Inc.

Shari Perlstein is Senior Director at Pfizer leading Enterprise Records & Information Management in Pfizer's Legal Division. Her current responsibilities include the development and implementation of an enterprise electronic archive and management of compliance issues such as data privacy and records retention as they relate to electronic and physical records management at a global level. Additional undertakings include technology policy development and records retention schedule evaluation and management.

Ms. Perlstein has over 15 years' experience working in regulated industries focusing on regulatory compliance consulting, training, software development management and policy development. Her work has included a variety of projects including 21 CFR 11 Awareness training and course development, Part 11 system assessment training and gap analysis, HIPAA training and communications, IT policy and compliance, and consulting regarding electronic records management.
