Ability to be decisive and implement
Good analytical skills...The technical skills can be learned and will evolve with new technology...

MOST OF ALL...You must have a PASSION for the job and profession.  The "job" is only "important" as long as you think it's important.  Also, you must be an "evangelist" for your cause...If you're not willing to promote or convince others of your importance, than you'll forever be a "wannabe".
