Temporary Full Time, $22.24 ­ $24.18 Hourly
 
Reporting to the Corporate Records and Information Manager and under the
direction of the Records & Information Analyst, the Records & Information
Technician assists in the operation, maintenance and support of the Records
and Information Management program in the Transportation & Works Department.
Has frequent contact with all levels of management and staff in the
respective department and interfaces with Records and Information Analyst
for the purpose of analysing records both hard-copy and electronic in
complying with corporate standards.
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS
 
·      A diploma in Records and Information Management or related discipline
and three (3) years experience in a records and information management
environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
·      Current knowledge of records and information management systems both
hard-copy and electronic.
·      Knowledgeable regarding trends in the use of current records and
information management technology.
·      Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in corporate core competencies
including customer service, communication, team work, initiative/self
management and accountability, and flexibility/adaptability.
·      Computer literacy utilizing MS Office applications, as well as
ability in utilizing RIM and EDM software or similar applications.
·      Working knowledge of records & information management software
(Versatile Enterprise & Edocs knowledge preferred).
·      Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in
dealing with confidential information, difficult situations, and/or respond
to internal/external enquiries.
·      Interpersonal, investigative, report writing, research, time
management and presentation skills.
·      Ability to lift and carry forty (40) pound boxes as required.
·       Ability to work outside regular business hours as required.
