Synercon (www.synercon.com.au) does this. We have their AKA package, it's 
neat. Knowing Connie she's probably been on the phone to you already.


My experience over 30 years, including software development for thesaurus 
components of library and RM systems, is that it is a very complex area 
often underestimated by RMers and their management. Advice:

1. Don't do it yourself if you can beg borrow or steal someone elses to 
use to get started.
2. Budget significant resources to keep it maintained. Most thesauruses 
fail because people assume once you've done it you use it forever 
unchanged. Crazy.
