Guidelines for Managing Faculty Files was recently published by the Harvard
University Archives. This document is intended to provide assistance to
Harvard faculty in the management of their personal and professional files
and related University records. The guidelines recommend simple categories
of arrangement for the various files and records created by faculty
members. Moreover, the guidelines offer basic information on how materials
can best be maintained in accordance with Harvard University's
records-management policies.

The guidelines can be found on the Web at
<http://hul.harvard.edu/rmo/downloads/FacultyGuidelines.pdf>http://hul.harvard.edu/rmo/downloads/FacultyGuidelines.pdf.

Comments about these guidelines are welcomed.
