Batches of what? What record types are you talking about? Are these
batches of paper records or electronic records? Are they paper that has
been scanned? Are they generated reports? Difficult to tell from your
post.

Subject: [RM] Batch Archiving - Clarification please

If anyone can help me on this it would be much appreciated. When
batches have passed the archiving requirement date (30 days) and the
batches are being securely deposited in bins for destruction, the batch
cover sheet (both manual and the Inventory Client Sheet) needs to be
retained along with the summary sheet from the tracking slips. These
items will need to be retained for a specified period and we're working
on the time frame with Internal Control. My question is what would be
the time frame? And secondly, how to store these items, image or off
site?

And suggestions would be helpful.

Terrance Worthington
