Just an add note. I have always considered records management as the
documentation involved and information as the document content, thus Records and
Information Management (RIM). Other disciplines, such as KM or ECM are primarily
content oriented. Information Management is part of all disciplines that
include the management of the information contained on the document and not the
physical document itself.
Try to unravel that one as you plan your New Year resolution list.
