Years ago I did a career day for my daughter's 4th grade class.  At the
time I was working as the Director of Medical Records in a hospital and
so the presentation was slanted towards health care - but I also handed
out medical record file folders to each child and had them label the
folders with their names, file some papers on the prongs and write a
short health care history about themselves (where they were born, if
they had ever been hospitalized, if they ever had a vaccination or an
x-ray or a broken bone).  Then we took a poll and did some basic
percentages (how many 4th graders had a broken bone?) - the teacher
loved that because they were studying percentages in math.  It was a lot
of fun for everybody.
