Grayson County?  Hmmm... I think that I know the CRM on the listserv who has some experience with Grayson County.  I suspect that a thorough records inventory was completed about 10 years ago, and a substantial volume of records were most likely noted as eligible for destruction, based on the county's approved records retention schedule....
