and lets not forget that in Texas until recently you could go to an
appraisal district's website eg www.dcad.org or www.hcad.org, plug in
an address and quickly see the floorplan for a residence as well as a
street level photo of the residence. now you don't see that. Why? well
seems that various government officials (elected, appointed or
working) decided that the information was too intrusive. So they
passed a law requiring the removal of the floorplans and the photos.
They had no problem with that information being posted until their own
ox got gored.
