At my Firm office location with over 350 attorneys on site, the Records
Dept is basically a distinct group, however I do have one person who is
part of the Dept, but who sits within and takes care of the IP files. I
also have one person who acts as a liaison to the Litigation paralegals
and who has responsibility for the management of work rooms when the
senior paralegal is not present. I have specialists that work with our
trusts & estate group, but other than that, all clerks do all types of
filing based on a range of client numbers assigned to each clerk.
