I was recently hired as the records manager for a nonprofit
organization. We have a large backlog of records that need to be sorted
prior transfer to our archives. The job is large and would require a
full-time employee for two years. We are looking for grants we might
apply to in order to fund this position. We are planning to apply to the
NHPRC and --as we are located in Manhattan- the NYS DHP. If anyone can
share the names of any other grants that are available for projects such
as this, it would be greatly appreciated. Google's results have been
decidedly lackluster.
