A target temperature and relative humidity for storing records composed of a variety of materials is 68º F. +/- 2º F and 40% +/- 5% relative humidity. Excessive heat, poor air circulation, and relative humidity above 65% can provide a suitable climate for mold growth.

Subject: Ideal Storage for Hardcopy Records
Does anyone know the ideal storage situation for hardcopy records -
temperature & humidity levels? I think I once heard that 68 degrees
with low (30%) humidity is ideal? Can anyone help me out.
