The Records Management Society (www.rms-gb.org.uk) is at present
examining National vocational Qualification awards (Sorry only really UK
relevant) for RM Practices including ISO 15489.

ISO 15489 is a good tool to use in assisting you in creating standards
of
policies and procedures for a records management program.  I have used
it on
many occasions.  However - it is only a best practices standards and
there
is no accreditation available.

Hope this is of some assistance.

currently looking at standardising our records management practices to

to ISO 15489. We are also looking at the possiblilty of an accredited
