Greetings, all.
We are about to embark upon an audit of our many 3rd party vendors who
host electronic company records (e.g., the performance management
system, SAP, our benefits administrator, marketing fulfillment, etc.).
After pulling IT's proverbial teeth, we've got a compilation of vendor
systems. I now want to accomplish this in the most efficient and
effective way. I'm after info on how they are
handling/retaining/securing/destroying company records. If anyone out
there in Listland has done this, I would be interested in hearing of
your adventures: how exactly you went about it (process info), sample
forms, questions asked of vendors, results reporting, et al.
And yes, I searched the listserv archives and performed an Advanced
Google search, Peter!
