HEALTH SERVICES DEPARTMENT
BUSINESS SERVICES BRANCH
Permanent Full-Time, Salary $22.90 - $24.90 per hour

POSITION PURPOSE

Reporting to the Program Manager, Business Support Services, this position assists in the operation, maintenance and support of the Records and Information Management program in the Health Services Department. Has frequent contact with all levels of management and staff in the respective department and interfaces with the Corporate Records & Information Management Division for the purpose of analysing both hard-copy and electronic records in complying with corporate standards. 

QUALIFICATIONS

*	College diploma in Records and Information Management or a related discipline and three (3) years experience in records and information management systems or the equivalent combination of education and experience.  
*	Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in corporate core competencies including customer service, communication, team work, initiative/self management and accountability, and flexibility/adaptability.
*	Current knowledge of both hard-copy and electronic records and information management systems. 
*	Knowledge of current trends in the use of records and information management technology.
*	Working knowledge of records & information management software, such as Versatile, Enterprise and E-docs.
*	Strong investigative, report writing, research, time management and presentation skills.
*	Computer literacy utilizing MS Office applications, as well as RIM and EDM software or similar applications. 
*	Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential information, difficult situations, and/or respond to internal/external enquiries.
*	Ability to lift and carry forty (40) pound boxes as required.
*	Ability to work outside regular business hours as required
