You need to also consider the ink when looking at life expectancy of
photocopies.  Most copier inks are heat applied and therefore do not
penetrate the paper fibers - making them less stable in the long term.

Subject: [RM] Archival qualities of recycled copier paper?

Does anyone know if recycled copier paper would have a lesser shelf life
than nonrecycled copier paper, when archived under normal conditions?
I've googled and checked the listserv archives, but can't find any
comparisons of this.
