Natasha, I couldn't agree with you more.  I enjoy reading the IMJ
whenever I can, but do think it would be beneficial to see more articles
in which I can feel the passion of the author.  I have been
characterized as being very "enthusiastic" (Doug - don't even think
about it ...) about our profession, and feeling someone else share that
passion would serve as an emotional validation; which would serve to
heighten the intellectual experience.

Laurie, keep your chin up.  I enjoyed your article, and have enjoyed
many before this one as well.  If the IMJ chooses to keep its content
more on the even keel, I will just continue to search out more
passionate articles, like yours, in other places.
