I have been asked to come up with various metrics to measure
productivity in the Document Control Center, and I was wondering what
you all may recommend as a good way to gage departmental success within
the company. I need ideas on how to track requests for documents and
other services. I'm currently combing our DocumentControlCenter@ e-mail
box monthly and can ascertain e-mail requests for documents. I place
this information inside an Excel Spreadsheet. Senior Management is
looking for something a little more definitive for metrics. Any
assistance is greatly appreciated.
