Hello

Has anyone ever develop an exercise to show how a file plan would be helpful to the individual or office?

In my office of Enterprise Records Management we are discussing topics for our annual meeting which would include records managers in the business units of the company and their senior execs. We thought a side bar discussion on how file plans are helpful would be of interest since most do not have a plan in place. As we discussed it, we thought that it would help if we could have a list of files or a group of folders and have two or three groups sort it and see how different the sorting came out.

I'd appreciate any ideas or thoughts on the subject.

Regards,
