First, the mea culpa.

In posting about yesterday's ARMA candidate forum, I broke my own rules for email. Pressured for time, I hit the <send> button before re-reading my text and considering its effect. I didn't even take time to add my contact information. And in my rush, I ignored the three key questions for communication: Is it true, is it necessary, and is it kind? I apologize.

My goal was to raise the question, not cast aspersions. At the time of writing, the answer was not clear to me.

what is clear is that CRMs are held to the highest of ethical standards. That means that not only must there be no conflict of interest, there should not be even the appearance of a conflict of interest. I'm not sure that was the case yesterday.

Your thoughts?
