We are interested in benchmarking our e-mail retention practices against
others and would like to gather some data about what other organizations
are doing with e-mail, specifically:
whether or not you use e-mail purge software, and if you do, within what
parameters it functions (e. g., how often does the automatic deletion
occur, which folders is the purge applied to, etc,.);
whether or not your e-mail system limits the size of individual
mailboxes;
whether or not you allow archiving of e-mailboxes, and if allowed, where
those archives are located;
whether or not your e-mail systems are backed-up.,
Anything you can share on how things are done at your shop would be helpful
and much appreciated. Please feel free to respond directly to me, or to
the list. Thanks in advance for all replies.);
Regards,
Ken Wirth
