What that old saying "You'll see a paperless office when you have a
paperless bathroom." :>)
Seriously, you can attempt to streamline all of the business processes you
want. But IMHO until you remove the ability to print (printers, copiers,
fax machines, multi-functional, etc.) you will never get to the paperless
office. I've read about a number of initiatives that talk about going
paperless (you can search the listserve archives for discussions on this
very topic) but I haven't come across one that has been totally effective
or successful. If employees have the ability to print, they will.
