Hello, My name is Mark Hoover and I am the new Records Manager for the City of Sugar Land, Texas. (25 miles southwest of Houston). Previously I worked for the City of Orlando for 27 years starting out as an Urban Planner ( MA degree from UF 81-83) and wound up as the Software Development Manager for the City. When I retired I thought I would stay retired, but you can only do your hobbies so many hours a day. So I wanted to get back into the work environment but did not want to get back into software development.

While at the City I was the project manager for the implementation of the enterprise wide document/records management system. I really enjoyed the project so I thought I would get into records management. I studied and passed the CRM exams and I have been at the City of Sugar Land for 4 weeks.
