How to treat records in which you are a CC recipient?

Typically, we treat a CC copy as a "convenience" copy or an FYI. The
sender, or addressee, is the office of record (depending on the type of
transaction and who the recipient is...internal or external). If I am a CC
recipient, I assume that I do not need to keep the email as a record.
