Records Management Assistant, Consulting Support
Seeking a junior records management analyst for a temporary 90-120 day
assignment onsite at a Federal government location in northeast
Washington, Dc. Must have:
· good organizations skills
· a working knowledgeable of Adobe Professional software and
Microsoft Office Suite
· basic knowledge of Federal Records Management (NARA) regulations
· ability to scan documents
Job entails:
· Organizing and reviewing paper files
· Separating out the duplicates
· Determining what should be retained and what does not need to
be retained based on Federal records management regulations
· Identifying keywords for searching on the records to be retained
· Validating retention decisions and keywords with government
point of contact
· Scanning/digitizing records to be retained and saving them to
the appropriate Sharepoint folder
· Boxing extraneous files for destruction during the next
destruction event
