WE DID IT!!! Thanks to my wonderful support team, friends, and donations, I was able to finish the ADA Hawaii Tour de Cure 50 mile course in 5 hours yesterday.   My biggest accomplishment was not getting off the bike to climb "heartbrake hill", Makapuu, or Diamond Head.   I'm hurting "big time", (i.e. there are body parts which are beyond hurt), but I'm happy that I finished fairly early and with NO FLAT TIRES this time.
