NOVEMBER MEETING OF THE
KANSAS CAPTIAL CHAPTER OF ARMA
Wednesday, November 18, 2015
TOPIC & SPEAKER
Identity Theft and Unauthorized Access to Your Personal Identifying
Information
Chad John, Federal Bureau of Investigation
This is a very significant crime that is occurring on a daily basis. This
presentation will focus specifically on ways one can deter from being a victim
of identity theft. It is extremely important for individuals to take certain
measures to both deter from being a victim of identity theft as well as a
identify victimization on a timely basis. The time and cost required to undo
what a fraudster has done to an individual’s credit is very significant and can
be maddening. Spending time today to implement some measures to deter
identity theft will save one significant time tomorrow addressing the mess that
occurs when one is victimized.
