HARRISBURG — A dispute over Gov. Tom Wolf’s firing of an appointee of his
predecessor came to an end Tuesday with the Pennsylvania Supreme Court
affirming the reinstatement of the Office of Open Records executive
director.

Senate Republicans, who joined the fired director, former legislative aide
Erik Arneson, in a lawsuit, called the outcome a victory for government
transparency. A spokesman for Mr. Wolf said the governor’s administration
looks forward to working with Mr. Arneson.
