The ARMA Hawaii Chapter is sponsoring an all-day "Back to Basics Workshop: How To Manage Your Records" by Blake Richardson on February 10, 2016.

In this interactive workshop, Blake Richardson, CRM, CIP, will cover the “soup to nuts” of managing a records management program. Topics that will be covered include: *Records and Information Appraisal Approaches, *Creating and Maintaining a Record Retention Schedule, *Managing Shared Drives, *Managing Email, *Legal Holds, *Document Imaging, *Content Management Software, and *RIM Training.
Blake is a Certified Records Manager (CRM) and a Certified Information Professional (CIP), with over 19 years of records and information management experience with three fortune 500 companies. Blake currently serves as the Information Governance Manager for a utility corporation, and is the author of “Records Management For Dummies”.
Blake has served on the Board of Directors for the ARMA Arizona and Nashville Chapters. Blake served as a grader for the Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM) Part VI exam for four years and currently is a member of the ICRM Examination Development Committee.
Blake has served as a subject matter expert for AIIM and ARMA and frequently speaks at association events. Blake attained his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University.
