Thanks for the response.

To answer your question, mostly the archive, but it would depend. The email archiving solution we use employs a module to search and hold mailbox content, including journaled email for some time. However, some of the forensic details are not captured are the archive side (i.e. whether a user read an email), which might be relevant to a litigation.
